1. About CareOps UK

CareOps UK ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our") is a care operations management platform accessible at careops.uk and its subdomains. The Platform is operated and owned by CareOps UK, registered in England and Wales.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Platform, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 18 years of age
• Have been formally invited to use the Platform by an authorised administrator
• Are using the Platform for legitimate professional care-related purposes
• Agree to comply with these Terms of Use in full

3. Invitation-Only Access

CareOps is an invitation-only platform. Access is granted solely by an authorised administrator. Attempting to access the platform without a valid invitation is strictly prohibited and may constitute a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990.

4. User Accounts & Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You must not share your account with any other person
• You must notify your administrator immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• Your account is role-specific and you must only access areas of the Platform relevant to your assigned role

5. Permitted Use

You may use the Platform only for lawful purposes directly related to your role within your care organisation. Permitted use includes:

• Managing care records, schedules and compliance documentation
• Accessing client information relevant to your role
• Completing assigned care tasks and reporting
• Communicating securely within the platform

6. Prohibited Use

You must not:

• Access data belonging to clients or colleagues not under your care or responsibility
• Export, copy or share platform data outside authorised channels
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or access controls
• Upload malicious code, scripts or files
• Misrepresent your identity or role
• Use the Platform in any way that could harm service users

7. Data Responsibility

The Platform processes sensitive health and personal data. All users must:

• Handle all data in accordance with UK GDPR and your organisation's data protection policies
• Report any suspected data breaches immediately to your administrator
• Not access, download or share personal data beyond what is necessary for your role

8. Intellectual Property

All software, design, content and functionality of the CareOps Platform is owned by CareOps UK. You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose only. You may not reproduce, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Platform.

9. Availability & Uptime

We aim to maintain high platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated where possible. We are not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CareOps UK shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental or consequential losses
• Loss of data resulting from user error
• Losses arising from unauthorised access due to user negligence
• Any clinical decisions made based on information in the Platform

The Platform is an operational tool and does not constitute clinical or medical advice.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, in cases of:

• Breach of these Terms of Use
• Suspected unauthorised activity
• End of employment or contractual relationship with the care provider

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
